Gloves Not Guns

“Gloves not Guns” is a part of JOOY’s initiative that seeks to address the plague of gun violence affecting at-risk youth of our communities by supporting nonprofit boxing programs. While fitness boxing clubs are booming across the country and introducing thousands of urban professionals to the benefits of boxing every year, nonprofit boxing gyms in neighborhoods plagued by violence and poverty are experiencing a rapid decline. “Gloves not Guns” seeks to build relationships between the fitness boxing community and non-profit boxing programs that combat drug, violence, and facilitate the financial support to promote their missions.
